Byakkotai

This is a drama special starring Yamashita Tomohisa (NewS), Higashiyama Noriyuki (Shounentai) and Tanaka Koki (KATTUN).
It's about a band of young men who fought to protect a castle but their enemies were just too strong as they were pushed back to the mountains (I think Iizu yama).
Instead of being killed by their enemies the group decided to commit suicide.
However, one youth somehow escapes and lives on to have a family and so on. Thus, this drama also brings us to the present as it follows this young man's great grandson (i think it's his great grandson), both are played by Yamashita.
It is a 2 part miniseries that will air on January 6 & 7 of 2007, that's a Saturday and Sunday.
