Satoshi Ohno's first starring drama role

Arashi leader Satoshi Ohno has finally been given a regular role in a drama series. He will co-star with rising actor Toma Ikuta in the TBS series "Maou," premiering this July.

"Maou" is a remake of the 2007 Korean suspense drama "The Devil" ("Mawang"). In this version, Ohno plays a lawyer seeking revenge against the killer of his relatives. For the role, he has cut his hair and dyed it black. Meanwhile, Ikuta has been cast as a detective investigating a mysterious series of murders.

Filming is scheduled to start at the end of this month. The show will air on Fridays at 10:00pm.

Not too many dramas with Johnny's this fall season...mainly there's Utahime (Starring Tomoya Nagase and Okura Tadayoshi) and Yuukan Club (Akanishi Jin, Taguchi Junnosuke, and Yokoyama Yu). Maybe there will be more in winter.

Right now there's a lot of people seeding bambino and yamada tarou monogatari on d-addicts. Bambino 1-11 and Yamada 1-10 is available on their site with english subs.


As for Shun, last i heard he was going to be in Detective Conan 2 next year. I think he's focusing on stage acting like Toma right now. Shun did say that he prefers the stage. I want to see him in more lead roles haha. But he doesn't care for being the leading man i hear...oh wellz.


Woot! Only a few weeks until NewS's new single+album is out! It's released on November 7...and here I only recently purchased Never Ending Wonderful Story...

If you like Oguri Shun, you should also check out Hanazakari Kimitachi he, he's the leading guy--so handsome with black hair btw.

Ah, too bad the show has ended already...Toma is on the left! Shun on the right! Toma was a FABULOUS Nakatsu. I think I'll upload the Hana Kimi Manga in the forum (sorry I only have eng translations...i don't have the japanese ones).

Domoto Koichi and Nakamaru Yuichi's "Sushi Oji!" ended with only 8 ep, but the movie will come out in 2008.
